Team Workflow

Every team at Vanguard is responsible for creating their own process, which can be overwhelming for new hires (not to mention folks who are new to UX writing). I created a process for writers on my team that emphasizes both key steps in the design process and promotes autonomous work on a cross-functional team.

From discovery to delivery

No (great) designer is an island. My strategic partner at Vanguard was a design strategist, and together we outlined a functional roadmap for designers, writers, and developers to follow throughout the lifecycle of a feature. We looked for gaps in previous design/delivery cycles and used feedback from UX retrospectives to lay the groundwork for a better way of working for our teams.

Discovery artifacts

I worked with a designer to develop this user journey for the Authentication Product team at Chase. We established a character (Brandi) from one of our core archetypes and demonstrated how future authentication products could fit into her lifestyle.
